Here basically is a page for ramblings
This page is dedicated to peoples comments, peoples pictures, anything that basically wants to be shared. If you want stuff put up then go to the contact page and send it to us. If no one does then it's just left to me to ramble......not a good idea

Gyroscope
We are a big fan of gyroscopes work, they are talented and basically seem all-rounded champs, check out their website at the links section
Where have all the cool-heads gone?
Apart from the very dispointing turn-out at all-ages gigs another observation linked to that is the disapearance of the regulars.
The days of going to concerts and seeing all of the regular concert-goer crew. You know who they are but you only acknowledge them with a simple glance.
But now only over recent months, the concerts are not blessed anymore with the regular regulars. We are forced to see the concert-goers changing from familiar cool-heads to unknown randoms.

Groupies?
This is always the least of my favourite words. Groupies have and will always be a controversial subject, with definitions changing left, right and centre. Wierd hybrid definitions have been made to try and cover the nastiness of the word. I know only of groupies of something not to be joked about but to just to be left and occasionally poked by a stick.

Agree, disagree, why not sign the guestbook

Why Leave??
This section is dedicated to bands leaving after their set. I am asking the question why??
The band comes to play, they are fairly early on in the day and are followed up by many a good band they might not have seen.
Why do they leave? These bands that are on want to dive into the music scene and be supported. Why would these bands not stay around to support other local music?
Do they not realise that they could also be making connections by staying around and checking out the other bands. They could start talking....start bumping into eachother, become friends and be their supporting band for eachother when they are playing.
I thought everyone knew that Perth is an almost scary, tightly knit family. The only way to get somewhere in the family is to become friends with the ugly daughter and then move up to dating the pretty sister.
That is a pretty unclear example but hey the jist is there.
Basically don't leave when other bands are to play, you got in for free, you may aswell get some contacts as you are fairly new and support other local music if you want people to support you.

panic jae
The Panics headlined first STRIDE concert.

Friends
I would have to say Metholated are mighty spiffy. They are from Busselton and are hopefully branching out into Perth, they are very cool live indeed. Catch them at one of our Stride concerts coming up.
